Hi,
Deb Halye has requested that we e-mail the names of reputable breeders to you for reference.
We were fortunate to have obtained our Cavalier "Ellie" from Cheryl Van Winkle. Cheryl is what all breeders should be.
Tom & Darlene Bandoly
Connie with Max, a therapy dog.
Attached is a picture of Max getting a hug (a
little tight) from one of his admirers. Max and I participated in a
fair
last week sponsored by the State of Connecticut for children in the Head
Start Program. We have done several programs on dog safety for the
State.
Cindi from Florida
Katie is growing like a weed. She went to the vet yesterday for her third round of shots.
they also want to do boosters on her. We put her on Revolution too. the vet said she is
very healthy. She weighed 5lbs 10 oz.
She gets prettier everyday and has such a happy go lucky personality. We are crazy about her!
Thanks for the input on puppy classes. the pictures were taken last week when my sister was here.
Isabel From Orlando, FL
Bella is doing great. I had her microchipped the Monday after we got her. She had her shots last week as well as de-worming. She has another appointment in a couple of weeks for the next shots. She is eating very well, growing up and doing an excellent job of housebreaking with the litter box. I have a double pen set up in our family room, in an area between the kitchen and family room where we used to have our barstools. In this way the puppies are in the heart of the house and get to watch everyone. At night, they cuddle with us on the couch, if they are tired and not playful. They love the back yard--I have a half acre with several live oaks so it offers plenty of shade. We put up the pool fence so they won't get in the pool. They hang out on the patio and in the yard on mild days and get plenty of exercise chasing each other, playing tug of war and running through the piles of leaves these oaks are dropping right now. I am very glad I got two pups as they really have fun together. Luna, the tiny black girl, quickly asserted herself as the alpha. I had carted her around with me for two weeks and she only left my side during bedtime. When we picked Bella up at your house and started gushing over her, Luna was not at all impressed. She made it a point to show Bella her displeasure every chance she got. It took about 1 1/2 weeks for her to settle down. Interestingly enough, though, from the first day, Luna cuddled with Bella at night and neither of them made a peep until I got them the following morning. They sleep in a small pen in the bathroom with a litter box and toys and water. I don't want them to soil their crate at night and they are so consistent with the litter box, that I just keep it in there with them. They each have a bed but Luna would prefer to cuddle next to Bella. Luna has a very light coat and no body fat. She is always cold. Bella on the other hand is a polar bear. She cuddles with Luna for a short while, then jumps onto the tile floor where she sprawls out to nap. She is a hoot. She is such as fluffy hair ball and so cuddly. We just love to hold her. She is also very vocal (not a barker) and squeals her delight or displeasure very clearly. She is a big eater which has been good for Luna who seemed to have very little interest in food at first. Now they eat together and Luna seems to get more food. I have them on an equal mix of Eukanuba and Biljac. I keep their food bowl full all day and plan to until they hit 6 months. Then I'll try a twice a day schedule. They also get a puppy vitamin every day. Both are on flea preventor and Bella will probably be old enough for HeartGuard by the end of next month. They are very loved and pampered dogs. Since they are in their large pen or outside, we have not had any problems with chewing or destructive activities. We are getting an electric fence next week to insure that they never dig out or get out if the gates are open. It will go around the un-fenced front yard as well, just in case they sneak out the front door. We will also have electric sensors inside the house around the main doorways to the front yard and to keep them out of the formal living room and dining room. So far, they have not tried to dig out, but I am not taking any chances. They are never left outdoors unless someone is home to check on them. We also only put them outdoors about an hour and a half at a time so they don't get bored.

We are still enamored with Duchess. She is absolutely precious, and we adore her!
Housebreaking remains a challenge despite the litter box and frequent walks and
outdoor visits. She is still a puppy, I know. She weighs 8 lbs and has been doing
well. Her appetite is very inconsistent, but she’s certainly looking healthy and
beautiful nonetheless. I will continue to share her progress. Hope all is well.
"Pamela and John" from Sarasota, FL
We were recently in TN visiting friends and the tulips were beautiful.
I took a picture of Zoe in the flower bed and wanted to share with you. She is a
wonderful young lady and we're enjoying her so very much. It's hard to believe she
is almost 9 months old this month. She and Annie get along great together.
She travels well and enjoys riding in the car.

"Ranger is doing just great. He is the sweetest, most lovable puppy and has won
the hearts of my entire family. He sits in my husband's lap and watches TV. He is doing
great with housebreaking and only has an accident when I forget to take him out!"
Second letter-
"I'm starting to train Ranger as he catches on very quickly. He knows sit, stay and lay
down. When someone comes to the door, I've trained him to sit nicely by the door and not
go crazy over the visitor. He also comes to a dog-training whistle that I bought from a
hunting supply store (Acme Silent Whistle $19 gundogsupply.com). When we take him out to
our land, I can blow the whistle and he comes running as fast as his little legs will
carry him to get his treat. You can just see the absolute joy on Ranger's face when he
gets to run free on the 100 acres! He usually stays within sight of us, but I always know
that if he gets too far away or out of sight, I can blow that whistle and he comes running
to me in a heartbeat! The only thing I have to do now is train him not to eat cow poop! For
some reason he thinks it tastes yummy!"
"It was pretty easy to train Ranger to come to the dog whistle. I started in the house
and every time I would blow it, I would give him a very small chewy treat. Then I would go to
another part of the house and blow it and give him the treat when he found me. Pretty soon, he
would know that whenever he heard that whistle, he had a treat coming. They have to learn to
come to the whistle, not to you, so get other people to blow it and give the treat too. Once
they get outside, just blow it a few times and let them know that they'll get a treat when
they come to the whistle. It works great. I keep the whistle within easy reach by the door
because a couple of times Ranger has darted out the front door and started to take off down
street. I just have to run and get the whistle and the treat bag, and he always comes back.
They say dogs can hear the whistle up to a mile away. It's a great investment." Ronda

-"I am so glad that you got our check in time! The whole process from deciding
that it was time to get a puppy to signing the Sales Agreement has been so smooth. I never
expected to buy a puppy over the Internet, but it has been great. Rusty scampers all over
the place and just can't have enough loving. We believe that God really planned this dog
for us and we are grateful. My husband and son are like little kids when they play with him.
It's almost as much fun watching them as it is Rusty."
Second letter
Rusty has become the love of our lives. Of course, any puppy demands a lot of attention,
but he is just plain fun to be around. He never meets a stranger. Anyone who comes to visit
is an instant friend. Rusty is so smart. He quickly learned to play fetch. When I open the
freezer door he comes running to beg for a piece of ice. We are taking him to "puppy classes.
"He has learned "sit" and "down." We are working on his walking on a leash without pulling us
along without much success. He is so excited to go exploring that he forgets that we are on a
walk, not a run! At six months he is potty trained with an occasional mishap which is usually
my fault for not taking him out soon enough. We use the reward method to train him. He is so
smart that he fakes a "tinkle" to get another treat! We got wise to that pretty fast.. You must
be a great breeder to have such quality puppies. We are happy and very pleased with Rusty.
Congratulations!

"Monte traveled like a seasoned traveler on the flight home. The person sitting next to
me ask when the sedative would wear off. I told him Monte was so good at pleasing his human
companions he would be very good and did not need a sedative. Not a word, not a whimper did
he make. He was however, thrilled to get loose. Today he has explored the back yard and chased
every fallen leaf he could find. My husband has spent the last two hours laying on the floor
and crawling around the house playing with him. I do not know who to laugh at the most.
My youngest son, 20, woke up to hear us laughing and playing with Monte and he came down to
join us in the fun. Now we are all exhausted, they are asleep and I am left to pick up all
the toys he has. He is such a good boy and has never cried. I think having his own toys has
been a real plus. He played and played with his sheepskin toy doll."
Second letter
Hi Guys:
Sorry I did not respond sooner. We have recently opened a new store. Monte is the official
greeter. If a customer doesn't buy anything we let Monte loose and he licks them into submission.
I have enclosed a few pics for you, as you can see he is as beautiful as ever. Our son and his
girlfriend took Monte to have Christmas pics at the Mall. They were so taken with how wonderful
he is, they took extra pictures and submitted them to corporate office for advertising. So if
you ever go to the Mall and see a big picture of a tri Cav, you will know it is our Monte. We
take him with us everywhere we go and he travels great. He has his own car seat so that he can
be correctly strapped in and a crate so when we visit people he has his own area to sleep in.
Potty trained so easy he must have had great start. Thanks. He can sit and stay but not for long,
he still has the attention span of a gnat, but he is getting better. He is not spoiled rotten,
just spoiled as all Kings should be and he is certainly the King of our home.
"BOB UNGER, NH"
"The trip home was a breeze. JC practically slept the entire trip. When we arrived home, my
daughters were waiting on the steps. When they opened the carrier I thought they were going
to lose their minds. I couldn't count the number of times they said, "He is soooooo..cute."
As for my wife, I think she feels like she now has a new baby boy. You were right, when he is
awake he wants attention and believe me he is getting it. It was a genuine pleasure to meet
all of you. I was very happy that I decided to make the trip to meet all of you and all of the
"family." You provide a great environment for the dogs and I know that environment and the
SPECIAL socialization will make our dog very special.. He just finished puppy kindergarten."
"GINNY KOLOZVARI, NC"
"Misha is perfect!!! She goes to work with me every day in my dog grooming shop.
She helps other dogs to relax and have a little fun. She also has flown to Chicago with me."
"RENAE CLICK, TX"
"Happy to report that Britany is doing really well. She acts as though she belongs here - and
indeed she does! Sassy has adjusted to her pretty well. She doesn't mope around like she did
at first. We're giving her lots of extra attention. Believe it or not not one peepee spot or
the other yet! Yeah! I'm pretty obsessive about taking her out often. She goes outside quickly
when she needs to. Are you sure you didn't already have her trained? At this point, we never let
her have the run of the house. When we're home, but can't be watching her, we place her in a
playpen in the middle of the living room. We've also set up an "exercise" pen in the back yard.
It's about 4'X8'. The whole yard is too much for such a little pup."
Second letter
"Britney is such a silly willy. She has boundless energy. When we're not giving her all
the attention she thinks she deserves, she plops her squeaky ball in our lap. If we then refuse
to play with her (which isn't very often because there are few who can resist "the look") she
takes her ball up stairs and nudges it off the first step with her muzzle and then goes
bounding after it as it bounces all the way down. She also loves to hug. She puts her paws
on either side of your neck and lays her neck over your mouth. It's too funny. You can't
breathe and end up sputtering fur when she finally relents. Another Britney thing around
here is "the L word" which is light. We can't say it without her going nuts. She loves to
chase a laser light all over the house and the mere mention of it sends her into orbit.
Goofy girl!
