How to measure your dog for a coat/dress:

A. Using a measuring tape, measure the length from the joint of the neck at the shoulder blades to the base of the tail.

See the photo and try to keep your tape exactly where the coat/dress should start and finish on the body of the dog.

Do not add any extra. Don't add for length past the tail bone.

B. Measure the circumference of the base of the neck at the shoulders.

C. Measure the circumference around the widest part of the dogs girth.

Do not allow for extra fullness or length when measuring as I will do this. If we both allow then the
dress/coat will be too long and or too big. Neither squeeze the measuring tape too tight.
Look at the picture to do your measuring.

Good Morning Cheryl!

This morning as my husband went out the front door to get the morning newspaper, we found your Federal Express Package sitting right next to the front door (it must of arrived late yesterday afternoon). I could NOT wait to open the package and see Mia’s dress. As soon as I opened the package, I was SO PYSCHED!! You did the most AWESOME job EVER!!! I could not believe my EYES – the attention to detail was unbelievable and then embroidering of Mia’s name into the smock piece was just like “icing on top of an already delicious cake”!! I quickly put it on her and it fits PERFECTLY !!!! The little bows to add to either side of her head are just the cutest thing I have ever seen!

YOU have some AMAZING TALENT Cheryl !! I am not lying when I tell you that I have surfed the internet for years and especially doggie apparel websites and I have never, ever come across anyone who has designed anything close to the dress you made for Mia!!

I am completely THRILLED and can’t wait to go home tonight and put the dress on her again and pose her for some pictures!!! I will send them to you tomorrow morning!

I don’t know how difficult this was to make or how long it took you, but, you should seriously think about advertising this talent you have!! I think you would get a lot of people who are very interested in what you have to offer!! If you are up to it, I would really love for you to design sweaters (maybe zip up sweaters) for Mia and my boy dog (10 pounds) named Bailey. Each of the sweaters would be a girl theme and a boy theme … Let me know if you are interested.
